I like the refinements of the NA8 myself. That said I would like to try out a NA6. I hear the throttle response is better.

It does make engine noises quicker, but doesn’t really go anywhere. Not that the 1.8 really does either...

Except when passing people, I find the Miata one of the fastest feeling cars that isn’t actually fast. Must be the magic of the PPF, and a light car.

Very true. The rattles and wind noise give me the sensation of great speed...everywhere.
